Standard Fire Protection, an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company, is looking for a Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems Technician to join our team!

Salary Range: $20.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain kitchen hood fire suppression systems
Perform work in compliance with FDNY codes, NFPA standards, and company procedures
Diagnose system issues and complete repairs as needed
Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition
Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with kitchen hood suppression systems
Licensing/Certifications:
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-17 (required)
- OSHA 30 certification (required)
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity and experience with Ansul systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in commercial kitchens or restaurant environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
