Hourly Rate: $40.00/hour - $45.00/hour

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and program Fire Alarm Control Panels following blueprints of system layout.
Installation and commissioning of Security, Apartment Entry, Area of Refuge, and CCVT systems.
Inspect and test system to ensure all components are working as intended.
Demonstrate system functions and interactions to customers.
Provide technical assistance with Fire Alarm Control Panel and all peripheral devices.
Demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting skills to return various building systems to working condition.
Compose and submit documentation and reports for each installation or repair visit, complying with company standards.
Stay up to date with codes, software, and equipment updates.
Document all deficiencies discovered during a service call.
Work with office staff to coordinate return for service as needed.
Work with Test & Inspection teams to provide professional and thorough customer service.
Perform other related duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Journeyman's license or NICET is preferred.
A self-motivated attitude is necessary.
Must perform neat and professional work.
Ability to stay organized and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise in Microsoft Excel and Work.
Regular attendance is expected.
