Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and configuration of sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of existing sprinkler systems to ensure ongoing functionality and code compliance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs of sprinkler systems.
  • Support programming tasks for fire protection systems under supervision.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as part of the support team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the timely submission of system test reports and technician work orders.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate services and updates.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Present a professional and courteous demeanor on all job sites.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/technical school training preferred.
  • National and Local Fire Alarm Code knowledge preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
  • Capable of performing tasks at a computer workstation for prolonged durations
  • Physically able to install system hardware and wiring when required
  • Able to walk up and down stairs in various facility environments
  • Must be able to lift, shift, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Sufficient visual and hearing acuity to inspect, diagnose, and assist in the repair of equipment
