Responsibilities
This role requires leveraging AI and automation to scale output and maximize brand awareness / demand creation (via digital ads, website, social channels, etc), accelerate external and inter-company lead generation, and drive robust effectiveness analytics that demonstrate quantifiable ROI of Altus Marketing investments without proportional headcount growth.
- Builder-Operator (Player/Coach)
Must build the function from zero while executing campaigns, systems, and reporting directly. - AI-Enabled Operator
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT, automation platforms, AI SEO tools) to scale marketing output, automate workflows, and improve efficiency. - Local Demand Generation Expertise
Deep experience driving leads at the local level (SEO, Google Ads, LSAs, local partnerships). - Revenue Ownership Mindset
Focus on qualified pipeline growth, lead-to-quote conversion, booked jobs, cross-selling effectiveness, and associated revenue/gross margin contribution—not vanity metrics. - Multi-Brand / Roll-Up Experience
Ability to unify or rationalize branding across acquired/local entities. - Sales Alignment
Strong partnership with field sales teams; builds practical tools and sales collateral that accelerates new customer acquisition and maximizes inter-company cross-selling efforts across Altus. - Hands-On Digital + CRM Fluency
Comfortable implementing and managing CRM, attribution, and campaigns directly. - Compliance-Aware Marketing
Ability to message around safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance (focusing more on impact of our solutions in addition to technical competence and differentiation across our complete spectrum of capabilities)
Skills & Qualifications
- 8–15 years in B2B or field services marketing
- Multi-location or franchise experience
- Fire & life safety industry experience or PE-backed services highly preferred
- Strong digital/performance marketing background
- CRM implementation experience
- Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools in marketing workflows
- Comfortable as a hands-on operator
