Salary Range: $20.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Responsibilities
- Install, program, test, and commission fire alarm systems, with emphasis on Simplex and Autocall systems.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance in compliance with NFPA 72 and local fire codes.
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, wiring issues, and device failures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Accurately document inspections, service reports, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and inspectors as required.
- Provide clear communication to clients regarding system operation, findings, and recommendations.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
- Respond to after-hours or emergency service calls when needed.
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies, including OSHA standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- 2–5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or relevant trade experience.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm panels, devices, and wiring methods.
- Experience programming and commissioning Simplex, Autocall, and Gamewell systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and local fire regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work at heights, lift equipment, and work in construction environments
- Certifications (Preferred):
- FDNY S-98 Certification
- OSHA 30
- SST 10
